Hi! I’m Tola.
When I came to Canada in 2019, I thought I’d hit the jackpot - land of endless opportunities but reality set quickly. The job market felt like a hard nut to crack, and the pandemic put everything on pause. I survived on odd jobs and my siblings’ help while chasing certifications – as I newly transitioned to TECH and better positioned myself.
Eventually, I landed a job, and it was time to hustle hard. But guess what? My paycheck disappeared faster than I could say “payday”—bills, interest rates, and living costs made saving a distant dream. Back home - in Nigeria, I could save 60% of my income, but here? I was just trying to keep my head above water.
I couldn’t help but wonder: Is this it? The endless grind, the same bills, and the fear of what retirement might look like? I wanted more freedom, rest, and a life where I wasn’t just working to survive. Starting a business crossed my mind, but the funds? Nowhere to be found.
Then came the moment: a friend shared a life-changing opportunity with me. Was I skeptical? Oh, absolutely! But after some sleepless nights and a little nudge from God, I realized I had nothing to lose by trying and borrowing from the wisdom of John Bunyan, “He that is down needs fear no fall.” I decided to take the plunge.
Now? Life is different. I’ve found my freedom, my “rest,” and I’m thriving in ways I never imagined. The best part? I’m not keeping this to myself. So, are you ready? I promise to hold your hand until you become the best version of yourself. Welcome aboard - I’m already celebrating your success! 🎉
